Melanie Nix, CFA

Melanie Nix is the Director of Corporate Development at Gexpro Services. In her role, she identifies, evaluates and manages capital market strategy, merger and acquisition efforts and various other strategic business initiatives across the organization.

Prior to joining Gexpro Services, Mrs. Nix was an Associate at LKCM Headwater Investments, a Fort Worth, Texas based private equity firm, where she was responsible for originating new investments opportunities, conducting due diligence, structuring transactions and working with the portfolio companies. Previously, Mrs. Nix was an Associate at J.P. Morgan in the Regional Investment Banking and M&A group in New York where she focused on transaction execution across sell-side and buy-side M&A, debt financing, activism defense and other strategic alternatives across a wide variety of industries.

Mrs. Nix holds a BBA in Finance and a BS in Management Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and is a CFA Charterholder.
