Electrical Components and Integration

Our engineering and commodity expertise spans all electrical and electronic products to include materials such as passive electronic components, switches, circuit breakers, transformers, wire & cable harnesses and assemblies, and panel design. In addition, we also support higher volume commodities such as copper wire, aluminum wire, EMT, rigid aluminum conduit, galvanized rigid steel conduit, fittings, covers and gaskets.

Gexpro Services has partnered with the top rated electrical and electronic manufacturers, distributors and value add assembly shops to provide our customers with the best quality products and commodities available. We specialize in custom per print assemblies and complex integrated assemblies. From resistors to conduit to complex junction boxes, we have you covered.

Our commodity, supplier quality and production environment expertise, coupled with our broad range of service offerings differentiate Gexpro from typical supply chain providers and traditional integrators. Our value added services include Supplier Development and Qualification, Value Engineering and Material Substitution, Complex kitting, Point of use and Kanban replenishment, and consigned and stockroom inventory management.

Electrical Components

An electrical component is the general term used for any component used to make up an electrical circuit. The electrical circuit contains three elements: an energy or power source, an energy or power receiver and the pathway between those two.

Active Electronics components

Active Electronics components

Active componentsrely on a source of energy and usually can inject power into a circuit, though this is not part of the definition.

Active components include but are not limited to: Semi-Conductors, Transistors, Diodes, Integrated Circuits, Programmable devices and Optoelectronic devices

    Passive components

    Passive components

Passive components cannot introduce net energy into the circuit. They also cannot rely on a source of power, except for what is available from the (AC) circuit they are connected to. Therefore, they cannot amplify (increase the power of a signal), although they may increase a voltage or current.

    Electrical Assembly

    Electrical Assembly

Electrical assembly is the combination and installation or mounting of electrical components and or controls on a panel or in an enclosure. Assemblies may be as simple as a terminal board mounted on a panel. Complex assemblies may have components mounted and wired per electrical schematics.

    Integrated Solution

    Integrated Solution

Integration implies the combination of electrical components and controls in to an engineered and/or functional system. Integration may include custom design enclosures and mounting provisions, as built drawings and solid state controls and PLC programming.

    WIRED BOXES

    Wired Boxes

We can mount and wire devices in enclosures to your layout drawings and schematics. We can also provide a custom design solution based on your functional specification. As built drawing mark-ups or complete AutoCAD drawing packages can be provided.

    Pneumatics Assemblies

    Pneumatics Assemblies

Pressure transmitters, valves and gages tubed or piped and wired to terminal. Bulkhead fittings and glands installed. Pressure testing is available.

    Regulatory Certifications

    Regulatory Certifications

Assemblies requiring certifications to governing body regulations or standards such as UL, CSA, IEC are available.

    Kitting and Export Crating

    Kitting and Export Crating

Consolidation of accessories, ancillary materials and multiple assemblies packaged labeled and crated for domestic and international shipping.
